Hud and Nancy have ministered together for over 40 years with various ministry capacities, missions organizations and church planting ministries and currently are serving under the covering of Global Training Network.
Six of those years, Hud was Academic Dean and professor at the “Center for Advanced Biblical Studies” in California and Dallas, which was a “Light and Power House” Christian Associates degree granting seminary. He was on the pastoral staffs of two Fellowship Bible Churches in Dallas, Texas for 25 years. Serving on the pastoral staff at one, where he was the Director of the Counseling Ministry, and a member of the Elder Board. At the original Fellowship Bible Church, he was the Sr. Pastor. Hud is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, and North Texas State University.
Before the time in California at the “Jesus Christ Light and Power House”, Hud spent nine years as a professor of Psychology at Texas Wesleyan University. He has been a licensed psychologist in Texas since 1975, and in Colorado since 2000. He has been in private practice for over 40 years. He is a professional counseling and leadership development resource for local evangelical pastors. He specializes in relational seminars, and intensives, and is an adjunct professor at the Denver Theological Seminary.
Hud and Nancy’s ministry focus is the interior spiritual and psychological development of a person. This is crucial and of central significance to effectiveness in life and ministry. Leaving a life long transformative impact goes beyond any metric. So many pressing “demands” and “needs”, masque the real interior substance of our lives. It is possible to have great strategy, skill, and expertise, but a shriveled soul. Without wholeness, the ultimate influence of our lives and ministry will be diminished.
Our cry and message is for people, especially leaders—to “grow up” from the inside out. This is our passion, our life message, and our calling. This is an uncomfortable and unpopular message, that we believe God is gracing us to deliver through the end of our race.
Nancy went to Seattle Pacific University and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University, with a Masters from North Texas State University. She’s been a substitute teacher in the public school systems in Texas and Colorado for 27 years and now has retired and supports Hud in their ministry with Global Training Network. Global Training Network is a world wide organization, equipping leaders on every continent. Hud and Nancy do Couple’s Seminars,Relational Retreats and seminars, parenting seminars, and conferences, with Interior and Characteralogical Development in mind. Hud also counsels and does intensives with pastors and missionaries at Quiet Waters Ministries in Parker, CO.
Hud and Nancy met in high school and have been married for 52 years. They have three married children and four grandchildren, and reside in Denver, Colorado.
